We are utilizing the power of the alpine wind to access massive, untouched bowls, endless ridges, and the kind of terrain you’ve only dreamed of riding.

The Adventure Blueprint

The Terrain - We’re taking you past the limits of Thredbo and Charlotte Pass into the wild expanses of the Main Range. You’ll be laying down tracks in iconic backcountry zones like North Rams Head, Cocks Harbour, and the vast, open powder fields of "Splenda."

The Dawn Patrol & Snowcat Mission Prepare for the ultimate backcountry strike. On Day 4, we wake before the sun for a hardcore dawn patrol mission. We’ll jump aboard an over-snow cat, charging deep into the Charlotte Pass backcountry before the mountain even wakes up. It’s an exclusive "Explore Day" dedicated to finding untracked lines and pushing your limits.

The Descent After a massive day of harnessing the wind, the adventure doesn't stop. We pack down the kites and carve our way back to civilization, riding the resort runs all the way down to the valley floor.

The Tribe & The Aprés Backcountry riding builds a serious appetite. Every night, we regroup at Jindabyne’s best local spots—swapping stories over cold pints at Jindabyne Brewing, tearing into Japanese feasts at Takayama, and celebrating the trip at Bacco Italian.

Your Experience Itinerary

• Day 1: Basecamp & Briefing. We pick you up from Canberra Airport and make the climb into the mountains. We hit Jindabyne, gear up, and kick off the expedition with a welcome dinner at the Banjo Hotel. The night ends with our first backcountry briefing—getting our minds right for the mountains.

• Day 2: First Accent. After rigorous safety and equipment checks, we ride the Thredbo lifts to the edge of the resort. We tour out to North Rams Head, set up our alpine base, and launch the kites. Welcome to the backcountry.

• Day 3: "Send It" Day. With the terrain scouted, the training wheels come off. Day 3 is all about free rides, long glides, and pushing your progression in the Thredbo backcountry.

• Day 4: Dawn Patrol & The Snowcat Expedition. A 4:00 AM wake-up call leads to a 45-minute snowcat ride deep into Charlotte Pass. We tour out to the "Splenda" zone for a massive day of raw exploration and untouched snow, finishing with an epic run down to the resort.

• Day 5: The Final Send. We return to the high alpine above Thredbo for one last massive session. We hit our favorite wind lips and bowls before carving back down to the Valley Terminal. We cap off the expedition with a massive final-night feast and a "dealer's choice" night out in Jindy.

• Day 6: Return to Reality. Wake up with tired legs and a camera roll full of epic shots. We pack up the rigs and head back to Canberra Airport for your flight home.

Who This Tour is Not For

• Recent or chronic shoulder or lower back injuries (the harness and kite pull directly stress these areas).

• Severe knee issues (the constant edging and choppy snow put high lateral stress on knees).

• Zero experience on skis or snowboards.
